The Resurgence of Poetry in Northern Nigeria: Book Launch of "How To View The World From A Glass Prism"
The Caliphate Arts and Literary Forum in partnership with Book O’Clock Review will be hosting the book launch of "How To View The World From A Glass Prism" by Nigerian award-winning poet, Salihu Mahe.
Besides the launch, there will also be a panel discussion on the theme: Resurgence of Poetry in Northern Nigeria.

How To View The World From A Glass Prism is Mahe’s debut full-length poetry book. It is a collection of short, witty, ironic and humourous poems that discuss the different facets of life with a satiric approach. Praised by Umar Abubakar Sidi, Sada Malumfashi, Kukogho Ireusiri Samson and others, it earned Mahe the 2019 Word Rhymes and Rhythms’ Green Author Prize.
Salihu Mahe is an engineer, a writer, and a freelance editor. He is the winner of Word Rhymes and Rhythms’ Green Author Prize for 2019. He co-edited the Eriata Oribhabor Poetry Prize anthology ‘Exorcism’ and a judge for the 2020 Professor Andrew Nok Poetry Prize by Yasmin El-Rufai Foundation. T
