Report: Abubakar Adam Ibrahim’s "The Whispering Trees" Out Now on E-Book

"The Whispering Trees" by NLNG Prize Winner, Abubakar Adam Ibrahim is now out on E-book.

The publishers of the book: Cassava Republic announced this on the 19th of May, 2020.

Originally published in 2012, "The Whispering Trees" is Abubakar's debut short story collection. It is a collection of 12 short stories which capture the essence of life, death and coincidence in Northern Nigeria.

In the announcement made by Cassava Republic was a teaser: "The magical meets the mundane in this collection of magical realism stories from Northern Nigeria…"

Prior to the announcement, the author made several posts on social media that expressed his excitement over the republication. On May 2, he posted on Facebook:

"The Second Coming.
My first baby, out (again) on eBook May 19th, 2020. Hard copies coming soon."

And on May 18:

"The Whispering Trees is back. International release tomorrow, May 19. You can order on the link.
