Nigerian Newspaper appoints Pamilerin Jacob as Curator of their poetry column

Nigeria News Direct has appointed Pamilerin Jacob as the curator of their newly formed poetry column. The poet took to Twitter to announce the appointment.

He tweeted: “Delighted to announce that I’ll be curating a weekly Poetry Column that features Nigerian poets with @PoetryColumnNnd (do follow the page), the poetry arm of @NigNewsDirect. 🤍”

The column kicks off next month and contributing poets will be given a royalty of N5000, for every of their poem featured.

Pamilerin Jacob is a Nigerian poet whose poems have appeared in Barren Magazine, Agbowó, Poetry Potion, Ghost City Press, Rattle & elsewhere. He was the second runner-up for Sevhage Poetry Prize 2019 and the author of the chapbook, Gospels of Depression.
