It’s Almost #365DaysOfBookOclock and #WorldBookDay!

World Book and Copyright Day comes up on Friday, 23rd April 2021. For us at Book O’Clock Review, it is a double celebration as that day coincides with our first anniversary.

Happy Dance!

To celebrate these two important events, we decided to embark on a number of exciting projects which are already in the works.

Kicking it off is #SchoolsOutreach — an outreach program in which our team visits select secondary schools in our host state, Sokoto and speak to their students about reading, literature and donate books to them. The aim is to spur them to develop a reading culture at an early age, especially considering how the culture continues to dwindle.

Our first school was Usmanu Danfodiyo University Model Secondary Schools which we paid a visit to earlier today. Find attached for pictures:

You can support our #SchoolsOutreach project in two ways:
1. Volunteer with our #SchoolsOutreach team so we cover a wider audience.
2. Donate new or fairly used books to us so our team can in-turn donate to the students.
Send a DM if you want to do any or both of these.

To keep tabs with our anniversary / World Book Day activities, follow the hashtag #365DaysOfBookOclock on all social media platforms.

It’s almost #365DaysOfBookOclock and we are stoked for it!
