Abubakar Adam Ibrahim appointed as Columnist in Daily Trust Newspapers

Nigerian award-winning author, Abubakar Adam Ibrahim who doubles as a journalist with the Daily Trust Newspapers has been appointed as a columnist of a weekly column called “Line of Sight” in Daily Trust.

This was announced by the newspaper on Wednesday, 5th of August, 2020 via a tweet.

The tweet reads: “Introducing our new columnist, Abubakar Adam Ibrahim (@Moonchild509)” with a graphic of the announcement attached.

“Line of Sight” will be a weekly column ran by Abubakar Adam Ibrahim every Thursday. It will feature ‘indepth critique with some twist and zest’ of political, social and trending issues.

Abubakar Adam Ibrahim is an author and a journalist. He is the author of three books: Dreams and Assorted Nightmares (2020), Season of Crimson Blossoms (2015), which won the 2016 NLNG Prize for Literature and has been translated into several international languages and his debut, The Whispering Trees (2012) which was shortlisted for the Caine Prize and longlisted for the Etisalat Prize for Prose. He is a recipient of several international literary and journalism fellowships and awards.
